NOW
COMPOSITION COURSE
I just finished my first 8-week online composition course with the next one planned to start end of November. Most likely meeting every Friday at 6pm Singapore time on Zoom.
GROOVE WORKS GOES ONLINE
My jazz mentorship program Groove Works has morphed due to the current social restrictions. Where we used to work towards a live performance outcome, we now hone our performances towards effective but authentic jazz performance videos.
The current session has seen a sizeable expansion, with now 4 concurrent groups meeting weekly in our own dedicated rehearsal space and video recording studio.
Of course we still love to play live, and that will return no doubt one day, but the focus required to perfect a performance for recording on video is already pushing the standard of performance up.

endorsements:
JODY JAZZ
I am very happy and proud to be a user, and official endorser of Jody Jazz mouthpieces. I join a roster of very special saxophonists including my teacher and guiding light, the great George Garzone. This is no token gesture. These are mouthpieces I use and love. The endorsement is genuine.
I'm now using their DV NY 8* metal mouthpiece on tenor and loving it - I've been looking for this sound for a very long time!
LÉGÈRE REEDS
I am also delighted to announce that I'm now an official endorser, and user, of Legere synthetic reeds. I'm using their Signature range on all instruments. What a blessing to no longer be subject to the caprices of cane!
